Educate. No need to ban.
Human rights are contingent upon certain responsibilities, animal "rights" are not. "There are a wide range of rights within the constitution, covering all aspects of life from human rights, such as freedom of speech and freedom from torture, to more specific rights such as those relating to education and healthcare, and protection from discrimination. It is important to remember that the human rights incorporated into UK law through the Human Rights Act are not all absolute. They may be limited or withdrawn under certain circumstances. With these rights come responsibilities such as loyalty, which means not plotting against the state, abiding by the law as a responsible citizen, and certain civic duties such as voting, jury service and giving evidence in court."
Ah! I thoiught we might come down to a certain parallel eventaully. Its not my problem mate. Its not me you need to convince. (UNlikely doesn't equal impossible tho'........ So you are still going to need to do a lot of convincing)
....but I would n't be too surprised if a believer shows more loyality in their faith than in than your proof!
Me neither. Education occasionally falls on stony ground. But the Zeitgeist appears to be shifting, slowly.
ooooooh!!! Just being friendly, which is what forums are for ...no? If you feel its inappropiate....no problems to me! Entirely your call James.
BTW i am frequently refered to as "mate" by many people.....my boss, the young lad serving in the news agent, some times my (elder) brother, once my Dad.... I just receive it as a friendly mannerism!
It is my belief/opinion that a certain individual is increasingly heading toward breaking this law, if indeed he has not already (in past comments), done so. Unbalanced sweeping statements which are now aimed at Muslims in this thread , but also at Christians and other faiths in the past, should be moderated. Freedom of speech and thought and opinion are fine when presented in a balanced way. Sadly this is not the case here or in the past. The actions of a few are being presented wrongly, and are once again being used to blacken the many. Enough is enough. Read the legislation. http://www.opsi.gov.uk/acts/acts2006/ukpga_20060001_en_1 I will say no more on this matter, but others might... DL
Perhaps it might be helpful if you were to pop over and explain, to the gentlemen in the video, exactly how you would like them to behave and what you would like them to stop believing in?
The only gentleman in the film is now dead, having been shot in the back by cowardly religious loons.
