I'd like to echo the sentiments of other ZG members and wish you luck and suggest that we should get a huge discount:).

If I were to respond to that it might constitute advertising ;)

The very best of luck, Tony. Nice web site. Are you still selling used turntables as well?

    Regards
    Steve

I see you are doing the Clearaudio Aurum cartridges; have you had the chance to listen to stainless and wood bodied versions of the same thing side-by-side?

Not of the Alpha or Beta but the Virtuoso yes. The wood version was a tad warmer in the upper bass, otherwise not much in it. The weights are quite a bit different though 6g for the wood v 10g for the stainless, so it might be a consideration when it comes to tonearm matching.

Thanks for that; have been happy with the wood bodied but wanted to know how much was down to the notion that wood should sound warmer.

I must say, that is a very nice website - very well thought out, and with a nice, clean design (coming from someone who's done a fair bit of web design). I love the high quality images of [nearly] all the products. I also love the focus on turntables and vinyl-related products - something that's quite rare at the moment, but much-needed.

I'll most likely be buying from you next upgrade cycle!

Good luck to you Uncle Ants!

    Cheers,
    Dunc

Guess you are allowed to spend all your time around hifi now and not feel guilty for it! Sounds good. ;)

All the best for the future!

Thanks Jack, to be honest I never felt that guilty about it in the first place, but no I spend a lot of my time slaving over a hot computer ... so some things haven't much changed
