Everyone who's got Gotan Project's La Revancha del Tango should get this one:

Some simply awesome remixes of the tracks on the first album. Many stand out tracks including a couple of unbelievable hip-hop ones - it's hard to credit that hip-hop and tango could mix but it can be done

Can't wait for the guys to bring out an album of completely new material.

For those who don't have the first Gotan Project album, BUY IT :)

    Michael.

thirded, although the new one is very similar to 'tango' seeming to me from memory and only casual listening to be the same (it's not though and if you like this kind of thing well worth getting).
    cheers

Thought the first was excellent, don't seem to be finding the second as accessible. Still it's sure to be a grower, maybe just needs more time.

Quantic, Mishaps Happening definately worth a £10 of anyones money!

Second Gotan album is perhaps not quite as accessible but I still like it. Obviously I'd love them to do another "proper" album (ie not a remix one).

Bit tame for you Joel?, not you usual esoteric stuff, I'm a bit disappointed I expect high standards form a chap such as yourself?

Are you a fan of Silvana Deluigi and Kip Hanrahan, tony? If so, I'm genuinely impressed. This is not, as you may know, "Continental" come dancing style "Tango"...
Another link at Kip's american Clave site:
