For sale a magnificent high-end valve power amp GM20OTL, astonishing look. The GM 2O power amplifier uses an OTL (output transformerless) and OCL (output capacitorless) configurafion. The benefits of this type of circuit are very widely recognised and may be summarised as providing unrivalled transparency, speed and dynamics. A small amount of feedback (6dB) is used to allow the GM 20 to drive even difficult loudspeaker loads without problems. As can be seen from the attached specifications, the performance is of a very high order. For example, the bandwidth extends from 1 Hz to beyond 35OKhz! As befits an amplifier of this class, it is possible to use the two inputs L and R in balanced mode by means of XLR plugs or in unbalanced mode via RCA phono plugs. ZeLuis - You do seem to sell a large amount of stuff. If you are a trader, please post in the appropriate forum.
Yes, I'm from Portugal. I don't have much stuff for sale, I'm allways looking for a better system (first I've had a Chord amplification, now a Graaf). That's all. I'm asking 1500£ for this astonishing power amp in mint condition, with all original boxes and papers and a set of NOS tubes for change.
How much would postage to uk cost? How do you think it will cope with a pair of esl988's also will I need to alter anything for it to work on UK voltage?
The amp weights 22 Kg, so I think postage will about £80-£100. This amp. only "knows" high sensivity speakers (it works since I bought them with the Avantgarde Uno - 101db), so I think it will works great with the esl. There's no need to chenge voltages, it works with 220-240v. Cheers
