If you go for the SME 10 make sure you have the SME fitting for the Graham. I listen to the graham on a SME 30 which is a fantastic combination.

The Raven has a great following a friend of mine has just bought one I'm due to go and have a listen in a couple of weeks.

The immedia turntable looks interesting but I'm not sure on the price.

Turntable arm and cartridge matching is important - they need to be listened to together to see if they work well together. Add the top origin lives, amazon and brinkmann oasis to your list. Have you heard the graham at all?

    Hi,

I recently heard a graham Phatom on a Nottingham Analogue Dais with a My Sonic Labs cartridge. Very fine indeed. I think the Nottingham deck cost £3900 but they do cheaper ones which my suit.

I understand it works in a number of good decks. The problem is getting dems with the different combinations.

Phantom should be a good match with the better NAS decks (Hyperspace and up), but two combinations I've listened to and liked a lot are:
(modified) Marantz TT1000 & older Phantom
    Spiral Groove & new Phantom
Both with Lyra carts and Connoisseur electronics.
The Phantom would probably work well on something like a Raven, and that's what I'd go for if working to a "budget".

I would also recommend any of the NAS tables, and I would recommend having a chat with Les at Walrus even if to gauge his opinion. He has a lot of experience with TTs.

If you like your sound fast and energetic, you could also look at a top end Kuzma.

I haven't heard the Phantom, but (synergies withstanding) I understand it is known to be one of the best arms you can get, and no doubt will be a match to pretty much any level of turntable you go for.

An Orbe might also be a good option as it is very good value (performance for money-wise) but I dont know how it may work with the Graham. Audition a few!

NAS Hyperspace - just got a s/h one recently and it's staying, vinyl has never sounded so good, infact about to upgrade the cartridge as has convinced me worth upgrading the investment so as to speak.
