What the hecks going on? This is a fixed headshell version, put my clearaudio cart on tonight and the tags won't reach.

Did people in the old days have carts the size of mars bars or something?

I know its an oldschool tonearm, but my bank balance doesn't exactly balance.

Is a rewire in order? if so how come the wires are short.

Very hacked off. So much for my bargain. :( - sniff.

    Cheers.

Get in touch with Johnnie at Audio Origami. Great bloke easy to deal with and he will come up with the most cost effective solution.

Clearaudio needs long wires .. I remember I have had a Clearaudio Goldmund (kinda Sigma Signature expressly made for Goldmund TT) and I remember long wires in the packaging

Yup, that was it G, silly design. I will be getting it rewired when money allows, as it sounds very promising based on tonight with standard wires and tonearm cable, I think I could be in for a treat once this is rewired! I'm getting quite used to this reduced grandeur! Thanks fellas. Johnnie will be doing this at some point. Not bad for such an old arm. Apparently the previous owner had it from new and hardly used it, he only had 50 records. I believe its been in a cupboard for ages. Watch me strip the allen key sockets now...
