The coolest looking cd unit for under 10k

The Blue Note Stibbert is so cool .like a Farrari steering wheel on top ,and acrylic ,the sound is a total revelation, like
analog on steroids. It is the best cd player I have ever heard.
For 3495.00 it is a steal, better than anything I have heard out there at 2x the cost.it is already receiving awards worldwide .
I went to hifidelityaudio in St neots, put my deposit down ,
now have wait 2 weeks before it is shipped from Italy.
They are on a 2 week back order.

Did you hear any of the other systems at JJ's, Leonard? What did you think of the new place?

    Don't forget Lector: http://www.docet-lector.com/start.htm

Very interesting & beautiful Italian tube spinners distributed by HiFi Emporium. Sensibly priced too.

Check out the Esound CD-E5 too, if you want a £500 giant killer (that is pig ugly mind). Just look at the spec! I own one of these and can vouch for its performance. Scary: http://www.cattylink.com/CAT-E5eued.htm

JJ still sends me love notes saying how brilliant the new place is, though ;)

It does look very interesting, but referring to a review written in Danish (I think) isnt helping me.

Hi Greg - i did a google on esound cd e5, only english language review i found was of the earlier e3 model, i think the above mentioned forum / thread has assorted links shown for the E5 but did not have the time to follow them. Seems there have been the odd niggle on the e5, particularly ref the drawer mech but it seems thas been overcome now.

Ho-hum - nice to think about but gotta stick with the pioneer for a while yet
