Indeed. Make sure it's a Menuhin free day though!
All the best, have a great one

...and keep the volume down, so that Oberarth avoids structural damage.

    Best wishes!

    Thanks! :)

Took a day off but I'm not sure it was the best idea.
Not even an happy birthday from the wife, and the kids are only interested in the cakes. That's what happens when music is nearly as important as the family. :D
Just listened to Bruckner's 5th with Abbado and nearly blew my ears off. Got myself "high" :MILD: and now I'm ready to devide the two cakes with the others...(what I mean the half for me, the rest for the others...)
Oh just finished to mount the diffusors. Something went very wrong there and it was my fault. That's how it goes when you get older that you think you are. Will put some pictures of the diffusors and comments later in the Hifi section.

    thanks again

PS: no Menuhin here ready to be played :D

Yes enjoy the rest of the day Titian.

Did you receive any exciting gifts? A new jacket perhaps? Or some slippers? What about a Koetsu Tiger Eye Platinum?

Got a shaker for my diet drinks in the morming. :D

The biggest one I gave myself, though, with the first step of optimizing the room acoustics.
    Koetsu Tiger Eye Platinum?
no, no, no more changes in the hardware. Only a phono stage with a few tubes in it (32). I'm not even shure I want to use 4 NA-1's (each driving 8 Ohms for each satellite). At the moment my point of view is that I have enough power so I don't need more NA-1 and therefore also have to get new cables and everything else I need to be able to integrate them in my system.
