Click me for a Buy It Now pair of Blue Herons at £1800, collection only from Southampton. Should make someone on here happy I'd have thought :)

Seems a bit expensive, I bought my pair (Now Graham N's) for the princely sum of £1k, and they were the Blue Heron i's as well

Thanks for the heads up Pete, but I think I'll resist at that price. For a grand they seem to be a half reasonable speaker.

OK, fair enough, not so much of a bargain as I thought then. I don't think I've ever seen Herons for sale before, so I wasn't quite sure what they tended to go for - but wasn't the list price £6k+ or something originally? And I thought I'd seen the Hifiguy selling Kestrels at the thick end of a grand...

W-M's really losing it now. The speakers he had for less than a week, and I have had for the last 20 months are the Blues Herons' slightly smaller brother the Heron-i. The Blue Herons were not far short of twice the price new, are slightly larger, have a different (gas-piezzo) tweeter and probably upgraded other drivers too. There never was such a thing as the Blue Heron-i.

(And re the Lampros thread - when or why did you ever own the 200s? When we saw them at JJ's is was a competition as to who could fall asleep first.)

    Graham,
you could be right, I lost plot a long time ago, must be all this classical music I'm forced to endure these days :D , the 200's were exchanges a few months back, and age doesn't seem to any thing for them either, to be fair the splendors won the snooze race on that day! , they could bore the bollox off a charging rhino at 60 paces

May need to get outa the way as this would make it even more angry, thus charging harder.

Merlin, are you gonna answer my PM?

That's odd - "local pickup only" usually means a genuine seller (it's obviously hard to rip someone off if they're paying COD), but not replying to emails is a very bad sign on Ebay...

hey he's only a hop away from me. if i had the money .... (and a bigger room)

but check out the ebay feedback - he has a 36 rating, but none of these from buyers - he's never sold anything before.
