I'm going on Sunday. I guess we will recognise each other by the ZeroGain hats and t-shirts we're wearing!
I'll be avoiding small speakers, super expensive cables, and any stuff with weird design.
See you all there, although I'm sure I won't know who you are!

 

i will have a homescapeav polo shirt so will my collegues, where is my zerogaint-shirt? (sic)

Tony L, myself and some of the PFM crowd will be meeting up in the bar at the HFN show at 11. I'll be there both public days all day so hope to see lots of you

Don't forget to pop in and see T. The last time I heard the AMR kit, it sounded great. They had managed to sort out the teething problems you heard.

I liked the AMR stuff,there werent many wives at the show ,it would be impossible to justify the expense of one of those desirable amplifiers.The weather was too good to stay long but I was impressed with the Overkill audio Manger speakers with OB bass units.Why do they always play crap music at shows?

Yes he has - for some reason on the trade day, doubtless trying to scrounge some heavily discounted kit.

 

So sorry to have missed you BBV. I was there briefly on Friday seeing old friends and tying up arrangements for meeting them at the Tokyo show next month. Had I known you were so keen to meet, I could have possibly wangled you a pass for Friday.

I did not get to listen to anything except the McIntosh rig, as Andy dragged me in just as I was leaving. Sadly there apeared nothing that I would want - discounted or otherwise.

 

Hopefully Tony you'll forgive me bringing this to your attention - we did comment at the time that it was a trifle OTT. What do you think you learnt from the experience?

 

I thought Tonys was one of te ebtter sounds at the show - though perhaps his claim about the room notwithstanding were a bit rash. Certainly JMLABS seem a bit better balanced than they did of yore.

 

tell you what amused me on trade day , as i went to the HW desk to get a magazine the nice young lady said "that will be £3.60please" i replied are they not free for the trade, she said not today tomorrow they are free, rest my case, by the way anybody heard the new revolver loudspeakers? nando
