Heathrow High Fidelity Show - April 3rd and 4th

This one is at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel and is less crowded than the major commercial shows. The rooms are bigger though so sound quality should be higher.

The show is sponsored by Hi-Fi+, International Smarthouse and What's New and is run by the Chesterfield Group, who are the same people that do the Manchester Show.

It should make a very pleasant day out - less frantic than the normal hi-fi shows.

Tickets are £7.50 on the day but we can get you 'Privileged Tickets' for £5.00, which include a free show guide and magazine (Hi-Fi+ or Smarthouse). Please contact me if you're interested.

Excellent. No trade day - just the Saturday and Sunday. We're setting up on Friday evening.

    Hi Steve,

I'd like to go on the Saturday, I'd like to hear your speakers in their full glory, but at this stage I don't know if I'll be working on that w/e. Do have any details of other exhibitors?, or a website?

I don't yet have details of other exhibitors. The website doesn't say much but it's www.chestergroup.org. Of course you can always take the scenic route.

I'm delighted to hear it Tone. Oh, and while you're trotting I don't suppose you could tuck a few cables under your arm and maybe one of your Wadia cd players, a Bel Canto to drive my subs and one or two posters to decorate the room? Hmmm, maybe some mains treatment would be good (while you're in the area).

Jolly good show old chap. I think I'll also ask those awfully nice boys from Voodoo for their support - I think Wayne has an excellent tube amp with an exquisite mid-band which should suit my full-rangers.

I'll try to blag a Nottingham Analogue as well, top one this time with a better cartridge - maybe my new Rohmann or a Koetsu red?

I don't see why some music couldn't be made.

Of course 'big' is a relative term. I mean big relative to the Bristol Show. Our room is 30.3 sq.m (6.4m x 4.75m) but they have three categories:

    1). 9.5 sq.m - 20.0 sq.m
    2). 21.1 sq.m - 35.4 sq.m
    3). 45.2 sq.m - 120.8 sq.m

Well, I was due to be in London on the 3rd for the London Eye, but that's fallen through. I think I'll say yeah to this for that Saturday if that's cool, Steve? We could have a ZGers meet in the bar at some point :)

Look forward to seeing you guys there.
