Do'h I should have known - the two Naimies are the only ones smiling ;)

The rest look a bit puzzled.

    Hi,

I can confirm that I will be there on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to having a listen to the Aspara loudspeakers, the Klipsch Jubilee horns, the Avantgarde Acoustic speakers, the top of the range Music First pre amp and the various Border Patrol amps.

Just to mention if anyone is heading to Heathrow on Sunday, and intends to pass through Hounslow, the Vaisakhi procession will be taking place, so traffic could be a problem!

    Hi,

Looking at the line up for the show, there doesn't seem to be as many exhibitors on show. I wonder how many people will turn up?

A good thing is that you can have a good look & listen to the items.

I'm now less decided than I was but probably be there on Sunday.

Rob/Simon, I'm thinking about using public transport this time. How easy is it to get to the hotel?

Bugger, got stuff to finish for a Monday deadline instead & can't make it :(

I'll be very interested to read what anyone makes of the Asparas...

Martin, JMH has just reviewed the HL-2 in Hi-Fi Plus.
A very positive review. I didn't realise that JMH still runs H1s - thats a reviewer using the same speakers for 20 years!

He mentions some tweak to the H1/H2 crossover that improves things but gives no details :(
Might be time to send him some fan mail ;)

I'll be very, very nice to Simon tomorrow and perhaps he'll do some measurements of the H2 for me/us. Whenever I try i just get lots of green fuzz on the screen :(

PS: I managed to heave the things onto some Mana Soundbases which was interesting though physically quite painful......

Cheers Rob, I'll watch out for that. The HL2s look awfully like Impulse H6s to me, & that's a good thing!

IIRC JMH runs pair of H1s with the H2 midrange driver and horn fitted - so it's a bit of bastard anyway ;)

Re: painful heaves - I have just landed a third Deltec 50S poweramp, and when time permits...it's all going active :D

Sad to say I'll miss the big event this year.

I have to cut my toenails.

But Mike, I thought you were attending the Ergo UK unveiling event and demo with a cluster of other audio boffins?

You all secretly holding some sort of toenail cutting fetish party?

Well, I dropped by at this show this afternoon and the one thing that really impressed me was the Guru QM10 speakers.

Pretty good for such a small box.

I spent quite a while looking for where they had put the sub.
