    Yup, John - I have to agree with you about those Phasonics speakers - huge yellow multi-unit behemoths. For me probably the ultimate rock speaker - didn't really gel with acoustic/classical, but on electric rock they were truly awesome with limitless SPLs and stunning bass!

    I also much enjoyed the Podium panel speakers, as usual. These are definitely on my Want List.

    err...
    I thought that they must have been an april fool...
    Made a complete hash of all the recordings I heard on them. I wasn't even sure if they had channels reversed or even if they were in phase.
    still, we all hear differently.

    These were so bad, they deserve the resolution audio award for realism. The low point of the show for us

    ymmv - but the Phasonics speaker were one of the real highlights of the show for me. ;) Stunning on rock - pin you to the back of your seat!

    rock maybe - I wouldnt know.

    however
    "timing was impeccable, sound staging and image height excellent etc etc....."
    err.... no, not really.
