    Yesterday I went to Lisbon's Audioshow, there are two TT setups that stand out:

    Avalon Eidolon speakers, fantastic looking Clearaudio with linear tracking tonearm, expensive looking amplification and cables, neat and clean sound, but too polite for my taste, also not much bass or treble...

    Another more conservative looking TT with the new Proac D80 speakers, very lively midrange, unbelievable amount of crack and pop, plus loads of subsonics, the two large woofers jumped like crazy, although there was no audible bass, other then ressonances...

    Funny most rooms used very show-off speaker cable, like the extremely thick Kimber and Transparent, or the flashy Nordost Valkyria... :rolleyes:
