yes, just a slight shoutyness with some treble, but no worse than the wilson audio speakers for example. Bass was a bit lacking in quantity too.

I think to really enjoy those naim speakers, you have to listen with a ''naim head on'' - listening for what they do well (timing etc) and ignoring what they dont - like dynamics and scale.

My speakers do begin to roll off at 14khz, and die off altogether about 16khz.. but only until I add my new tweeters... at least thats the plan..

''deplores most modern music''?? naaah. I dont like much classical music, and I dont like rap at all, not keen on modern jazz. Other than that, I like most stuff. Most of all I like rock/indie/dance and thats pretty new stuff.
