In very basic terms, the gluing of the sound together, neither lagging bass (one noting or 1 beat behind a very common issue with ultra high end hifi), nore mega prominant mid band at the expence of all other frequenices, or upper frequenices spread into infinity or beyond.

But totally intact (not disasmmebled or disjointed), top to bottom eveness of the sound no one set of frequenices showing prefernce over another.

No artifical staging tricks, or overly smooth treble, even sat in the front 10 rows of a full Blues band when the kick horns let fly?

Yet neither show it resemeble an old skool naim 'No.2 Bastard File brain driller. either

It should emcompasses realistic dynamics, attack and NOTE DECAY, and tight coherent, deep and accurate bass.
