Most equipment racks I've looked up on the net only seem to cater for crica 25kgs per shelf

Anyone know of ones that can take more - my amp weighs crica 88lbs (circa 40Kgs) and I'm looking for something with three shelves.

Oh, and mustn't cost the earth either. I was thinking about £300

I use a BCD 1100 and have some spares available that you might be able to use.

The rack is used by many dealers in Krell and other US overbuilt behemoths and weighs in at 85kg without any kit.

Easily the best rack I have used on my own wooden floor, but of course that means nothing. What is interesting though is how many high end dealers across the country relied on them for demos.

The only problem is a full one will bust your budget even used. The spares with some glass might come in around the £300 mark.

I've priced up a solid tech rack for you:
assuming your power amp is a beast, and so needs the tallest pillars, and assuming you don't want any of the optional sprung isolation:
bottom pillars with spikes: £28 for 4
    tallest pillars 319mm tall £48 for 4
medium set of pillars 235mm tall £38 for 4
    2 intermediate shelves £74
    top shelf £100
    total price £362

and because it's modular, you can always buy 2 shelves now for £250, and add a 3rd later (£74 for the shelf and £38 for the pillars)
