Apparently not. How about a Denon 103 or one of the cheap and cheerful AT MMs? BTW won't Dynavector in the UK let you exchange your old cart?

Second for the 103, it can do wonderful things especially when you sit back and think about how little you paid for it!

only problem is i only have a mm phono stage. the cost savings of a 103, would be lost on having to replace the phono stage.

come up on ebay all the time, from same seller, £50 usually double, I had one, and sold it on to another, he loves it, runs on 2 aa batteries, gives around an extra 27db, good for the dosh.

I would have to go against the flow and recommend that you avoid the Denon.

My experience suggests it is really weak at the frequency extremes and it is likely that your system will expose this. Personally, I found the whole DL103 experience wholly underwhelming.

so would i be best off back with another 20xh? or is there something else like the shelter 501 or zyx that would be a notable improvement around the same price?
