Came across a thread recently on Audio Chews looking for opinion on arranging an event similar to the one linked above.
It's primarily aimed at audio enthusiasts not afraid of some DIY but it has much wider appeal IMO.
The format above consists of a small venue with a few rooms where people can chat, listen to music and generally socialise, with the day(s) punctuated by guest industry speaker presentations. Last year the event had Doug Self talking on active crossovers and Nelson Pass on some of his ideas on amplifiers.
If you aren't interested and think this is a waste of time, you clearly won't attend or want to see any vids from the event so please don't comment.
