HIFI Burglary

    Please keep your eye and ears peeled in the UK on behalf of Audio File as they have suffered a substantial burglary. It's a shame because they're a good, hard working bunch of people there - but that doesn't bother your average cirminal.

    £70,000 burglary at hi-fi shop

    Police are seeking information about a burglary at Audio File, the
    Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, hi-fi retailer. Around 02.00hrs on
    Monday the 21st of July 2003 a burglary was committed at the shop in
    Hockerill Street, Bishops Stortford, in which equipment worth around
    £70,000 was taken.

    The missing items include:

    A Linn CD12 CD player, serial number 000644, value £12000.

    A Linn Kisto processor, serial number 854082, value £8500.

    A Linn Unidisk DVD/CD/SACD player, serial number 853936, value £6500.

    A TAG MCLAREN AV192 processor, serial number 90021213, value £8995.

    The rest of the items taken were mainly LINN and NAIM cd players and,
    and two Sharp LCD screens and a Loewe LCD screen were also taken
