Sorry, only 4 way blocks available at the moment.

Hi, I have some very high quality Brennenstuhl aluminium mains power blocks for sale.

The premium line range from Brennenstuhl is used by Merlin on their Tarantula power block and True Colour on their Constrictor power block. The Brennenstuhl Aluminium line is of a higher quality than the premium line used by these company's so they really are very good.

All blocks have 2M of Lapp 2.5mm shielded mains cable with the shield attached to the earth terminal in the plug. Other lengths are available just PM me for a specific price. Each block has a neon rocker switch fitted but the neon light is removed and the switch is completely bypassed meaning the block is hard wired by default.

Each block can be purchased with a Russ Andrews reference style plug or MK tough plug. Prices as follows:-

    4-Way mains block with MK plug - £28 + £6 P&P
    6-Way mains block with MK plug - £32 + £7 P&P
    4-Way mains block with RA plug - £36 + £6 P&P
    6-Way mains block with RA plug - £40 + £7 P&P

All P&P prices include fully insured delivery.

Photos available on request, just PM an email address, thanks for looking.

Just to confirm - ALL blocks are completely hard wired and the neon light completely removed.

SORRY, NONE LEFT FOR THE MOMENT. Also out of cable but both on order, power blocks will be 2 days and cable will be about a week or so. Apologies but these have just 'disappeared' and the cable lasted 3 days when I expected it to last 2 -3 weeks :)

I think I'm right in saying these have an LED and on/off switch. Can you open them up to hardwire across these or are they sealed?

There is a switch and the existing cable is soldered to it. I need to open it up to replace the standard cable with the shielded cable, for the ones I have done so far I have left the switch intact but I have been asking people whether they want the switch bypassed and letting them make the choice.

    Hi Andy

Was looking to give the mains power plugs a go.
Can you advise whether having a screened power cabled multiblock feeding normal power cables to Amp and CD will give the same benefits as running 2 separate screened power cables directly to the wall sockets.

Mains blocks are obviously good if you need to plug in more components than you have wall sockets, or if the sockets are too far from the components but if your sockets are close enough and you have enough available I personally would go for individually screened cables.
