    Hi

I would like to try some of these interconnects out.

I don't suppose there are any for sale, If so could anyone let me know where I might obtain a pair?

    Thanks

    Regards

    John

Are you referring to the very old LC-OFC types?

If so perhaps keep an eye on eBay.

    Hi Rob

I'm not sure. I noticed hitachi interconnects mentioned , and rated very highly, on hi-fi forums. The impression I got was they were low cost but beat a lot of very expensive alternatives.

Would it be the old LC-OFC types I am looking for?

    Thanks

    John

IIRC Hitachi were one of the first (or the first) to develop the LC-OFC process for copper wire. However I don't think they've produced the cable as a retail product for many years and in fact others have come along and refined the process, such as Audio Technica with PC-OCC. AT still produce cables so if you want to try a cable of this type perhaps try one from AT.

Personally, I'm 100% certain that it will perform to the same standard as the giveaway cables supplied in the box. Others will hold very different views :)
