Who's going where for how long?

I'm off to california for two and a bit weeks at the end of april. Time to catch some sun and chill out...

 

Off to Malaysia for two and a half weeks this summer. KL, then Kuantan, followed by Langkawi. Can't wait.

 

I'm off to Memphis for 2 weeks, on the 22nd of June

 

I'm off to a center parc for a long weekend and then down to devon for a week and probably sommerset for a week at some point too.

off to Rome next week, nothing else planned as yet.

 

Paying off student debts for the rest of the whole of the summer. Hooray.

 

At least 2 Hols for me - 1st Sardinia for 2 weeks, then honeymoon in various Scottish Castles for another 10 days...

 

not long come back from tenerife, off to prague in the v near future (stag weekend) then down to wiltshire to see a mate. nowt planned in the summer as yet.

 

I'm smiling at you all but I have 2 fingers up under the desk

my jetsetting days are over until my daughter is older. parts of devon do remind me of parts of thailand scenery wise, you have to squint a bit though.

Planning the honeymoon at the moment so ideas welcome

 

Philip, if you hear any good honeymoon destinations let me know

 

We are renting a villa near Pollensa in Mallorca for a couple of weeks in May. The out-laws are joining us for a week, should be good as they are very good grandparents so we'll get a break.

I used to go to this part of Mallorca a lot when I was a kid with my folks, but it will be interesting to see how it has changed in 20+ years.

 

We have the wedding gift list with these guys they do a number of really interesting trips if you fancy something a little different. Currently thinking about walking the Japanese Alps. Other ideas I quite like are the Budapest and Krakow trip with some trekking in-between.

 

Glastonbury - if I get tickets.

given the expenditure on Chris Towers i think we'll be staying on the Marsden Riviera this year - no sun, less sand, plenty of ale available though - one village 25+ licenced premesis!

Phil K - if you dont just want to lie on a beach look at thailand - had 3 weeks there last july - couple of days in Bangkok, headed north to Chiang Mai / Chiang Dao doing tekking stuff befoere heading to Koh Samui for 3 days r+r on the beach before heading home. just check the weather for the month your honeymoon is in!

Fantastic, honest home-cooked food (a mixture of Creole and French), nice lady runs the place, very pleasant indeed.

 

Thanks guys, Thailand is an option as I feel people, (westerns), returning there will add further reward for the effots that have gone on to get things up and running again.
