    just finished watching the cassini - huygens horizon and was pleasantly surprised. it didn;t treat the viewer as sub normal or repeat itself interminably due to lack of real subject matter. and there's even more to come next year. is this the end of the dumbing down of tv? ok maybe not but if you're interested in the subject (saturn and titan) then worth a watch if / when it's repeated.

    Yep. I now have 14th of January marked on my calendar.

    I didn't get to watch the whole program, ( I was in the middle of cooking), but what I saw was definitely very interesting.

    These things amaze me...sending a piece of machinery all that way, I hope the thing doesn't do a beagle and go all quiet on us. The pictures should be amazing...hopefully it won't be a misty day!

    a joint us / european probe - cassini (the bigest ever to be launched) has just finished it's billion mile jouney and is now in orbit around saturn. on january 15th the huygens part will split off and try to land on titan.

    I watched perfect storm instead, my my it was kak :( wish I'd have watched saturn.
