My local sorting office has signs up for xmas casuals. Id consider being a postie for a while, regular income with time in the afternoon to work on your project.

I have seen two part time web positions I am going to apply for, but the Royal Mail offices in Cheadle (Greater Manchester not Cheshire :p: and not the Staffordhsire one). are taking on 250 data input staff which would ideal for me. If I can work sundays its not pad pay either.

Data input is also soul destroying, but the fact of life is most temp work is soul destroying.

Money in pocket though and thats whats important.

Why does it take about 50 minutes on the Blackpool train to get there? I am talking about from Picciddily here.

It must be a good 30-40 miles away from Manchester (remember I am from South Manchester which makes a big difference).

Gary - Yep I am sure it will be boring as hell but if I get the job I should get £450 for it after tax which will make a big difference to my finances.

Agree that data input isn't the most interesting job on the planet - my previous job included a lot of it. However, if it helps you gain some useful exprerience and get your foot in the door of a place, then it is worth going for, IMHO. I don't actually regret taking on my last job at all - it had its ups and downs, like they all do.
