    1 member to claim that candles give a better quality of light.
    5 to ridicule the candle enthusiast and claim the LED is the only way forward.
    2 lighting geeks to give the benefits of LEDs
    6 fence sitters to say they'll convert to LED when it's cheaper/brighter/has more features
    3 to have a private argument about the rumour of a new feature in the next generation LEDs
    1 to suggest that blue LEDs work better
    1 forum member sitting in the dark posting the question "My lamp has gone, do you think I should change the bulb?"

    My wife is sending me out to buy a dimmer switch. Has anyone noticed a degradation in light quality with a dimmer in circuit?

    Yes! It come sometimes make the light seem dimmer.
