    Cheers Julian!

Fear not! It's fun on a good road but it's a beatch around town in the wet. It has far more power than I could ever need.

The first overtake I did this morning was of a large lorry doing 50 mph. I was in 4th. I breathed upon the throttle, somewhere a gnat blinked and the bike was then going somewhat faster and the lorry was a distant memory. Glanced down - I was still only doing 6000 rpm

Further overtakes were performed in top gear as there was clearly no need to ever change down and it still accelerated up to something very fast very quickly. Doubt I ever had the throttle more than a quarter open, if that.

So no, I won't be rushing out to buy one of these. I suspect a decent 650 would in practice be just as useful.
