    Netgear 101

It works ok. The only problem I have experienced is the occasional drop-out although I suspect this is a range issue through solid walls. It also does not like higher bit rates, so I am limited to 128 for it to be reliable.

The display is good, and it is reasonably easy to configure. The major plus factor is cost. I am sure the alternatives on this thread are better, but at three to four times the cost, they should be. You can pick them up on ebay for around £70 and I expect, resell them for not far of the purchase price if it doesn't suit.

I use my netgear with most tracks at 320 and it doesn't drop out much, only when the network point is the other side of the house.

You can get them new for about £85ish from www.simply.co.uk

For anyone else reading the thread, the most common of these devices were reviewed on CNET recently.
