Trying to print out my progress report which is a apart of my final year project and is very important, its due friday but thought I would get it all out the way tonight so I can do revision.

However my stupid printer (an expensive HP Photosmart 7150) decides to break down. It has some driver issue that everytime I try and print my PC crashes in spectacular style, I have to reset the damn thing two times just to get back into windows.

    I want to cry!

    Hi AT,

I have the same printer and I often feel like hitting it with a sledge hammer. The biggest problem is switching from Photo to normal printer paper and vice versa. It takes several power off/on to get it working again. :grrr:

Fixed it, had to delete the drivers from the windows spool directory and redownload them, one of the DLL files must have become corrupted.

I finally fixed it last night, but I have to be in university at 12:00 to meet others to work on a team project, that means I can't hand in my work today so will have to make a seperate trip tomorrow.

I fixed it by deleting everything in the windows/systems32/spool/hp directory, downloading the drivers again, it works fine now.

Dev - I've printed quite a few photos with it but I am often scared to print them because the photo cartirdges cost more than some printers do.

Technobar - The only problem with Macs is you can't write PC applications for them :p
