    I had a link to a site where the guy had put a Squeezebox into an old Quad FM1 case, but it's gone. I may do this myself anyway.

    A Squeezebox is a music player for your hifi, basically plays mp3's or similar files from your pc to your hifi via a wireless or wired network.

    Another nice positive post garyi!!!!

    Try a Squeezebox with a good DAC and WAV or FLAC and you might have a different opinion.

    Anyway I enjoy my open mind

    I use my squeezebox through an external DAC and whilst it might not compare to a top of the range system, it suits me fine and I have found I am just enjoying listening more as I can now access any selection of tracks.

    However, it may not be to everyone's tastes...
