If that is the case, then it's a definite loss.
Users with an opinion on Mana seems to fall into 3 categories:

    - Some who have genuine experience of mana kit and didn't like it's effect,
    - People seem to like quoting second hand views on the kit and complaining about how ugly it is
    - Some who use the kit and like it because of the tuning effect it does give

I happen to be one of the people who owns one of their amp stands and like the effect it gives, and I'll be sorry to see them go.

Please observe the AUP statement about bringing things in from other forums. As I accept that you're not bringing an argument with another user in, I'll let it stand for now unless complaints are received.

I am an ex-mana owner and some of their supports were good - but they were way overpriced and some of the stuff they tried to peddle wqas a bit OTT wrt multiple stacking. Darwinian principles at work.

Do you have any experience with "multiple stacking"?

I'll take that as a "no", then. £10k for a speaker support would indeed be very expensive.

Good news if they are - I'll be keeping an eye out for any liquidation sales.

    that's not very nice.

whatever you think of the product, it's always sad when a company that makes some niche product goes under.

"...no effect whatsoever on whatever equipment placed thereon."

Did you ever use your sound frame with glass, or just the board?

It never came with a board, James, only with a glass plate with two black stripes in the middle.

Anyone remember the story in the bible about the tower of babel? Could be a moral there...

No, Mana came much later, in the desert with Moses, en route to the Promised Land fleeing from captivity of Idiots and taking the good news of superior sound reproduction to the Philistines.

Ah yes it fell from heaven and brained the faithless with glass and wrought iron. Then they raised a temple of mana on phase platforms and it was immune to the horn of jericho - which made vibrations that could knock down a citys walls. Yea the bass response pleased the lord mightily and the unbeleivers were smote hip and thigh.
