    It is for a *250 foot spool*, so thats $1800 for about 83m, thats what, $20 a metre or so? Quite cheap really considering what similar amounts of 'high end' Nordost or similar would cost you!

    Someone with a bloody big house? ;)

    Seriously though, you're right, overkill for us lot I expect :), but retailers/installers who would get through cable in vast quantities wouldn't mind buying that much cable in one go if it'd represent a decent saving over buying in smaller quantities.

    We could probaly use all that cable in our house - my AV system alone could really use 30 metres for all 5 speakers...

    If anyone actually wanted some you could buy a spool between people on the forum and share it out. Probably save lots of cash that way
