    MB - KB. How many KB is 1.2MB. We're talking photo size on pc's here. PLease help, I cant think.

    Yep! Technically 1 KB = 1024 Bytes and 1 MB = 1024 KB :)

    And being pedantic, it should be kB, not KB :rolleyes:

    To an electronic engineer or anyone familiar with processor architectures then 1kB= 1024 bytes.

    HOWEVER, to networking people and those selling hard disks, 1kB = 1000 bytes.

    Thus, if you buy a "160GB" hard disk it has 160,000,000,000 bytes capacity, which is actually only 149GB...
