got our lass a some will young tickets last night from t'bay.
    £150!
so yeah, i'm off to see will at the end of may.

can't be as bad as the darkness i guess, three songs and a lot of crowd admiration does not make a good gig

Blimey - I would have thought corrective surgery is available for less money than that.

    Chris.

(Sorry - couldn't resist. Hope you enjoy the show)

I think will young is alright, at least he has managed to survive the train wreck that is pop idol.

Wouldn't pay 150 to see him though.

i hoped telling you all this that i would open a debate.
firstly, i agree that pop idol is at heart a malicious show.
i do however take a small amount of joy in watching the talentless fools put themselves up for ridicule in front of millions.
many people say it's cruel. how would they know if they don't watch it?
people say none of the contestants are talented. again, how would they know?

will young is as good a vocalist as i have heard in many a year. and he has the added bonus of his voice ACTUALLY being distinctive and not just sounding like dean martin or sinatra or whoever.

i don't think he's the bees knees or that he's the most talented guy on the planet but i think he desrves to have the 'pop idol' rod taken from his back.

as for all the pop stars who berate pop idol , what a bunch of jealous tossers. so many of them would have jumped at the chance of a contract had the medium been around at the time.

i got 2 tickets for £150 - a lot of money. NOT POCKET MONEY you note. adults like will young, adults buy his records, adults buy the tickets.

oh and my missus just bought me a breitling so i thought i'd do something for her.

Each to their own; I'm jealous as I won't be able to get in and throw bottles of pee at him (just kidding!) - if he does Glastonbury though.... :D

Sure he has an OK voice, but I could buy a pot of paint and listen to that dry with more satisfactory results - IMHO of course :)

I bet you'll find that the Darkness gig was better.

Plus Will deserves to be pelted with pee bottles and tomatos for that awful rendition of "Light my fire" - or was that the "other" one (Gareth Gates) - I reckon, if you ask me, that the antichrist is alive and well and selling bad records to good people!
