    ... at the Ritz!

I can't quite believe my luck and I bet the tickets will go missing in the post but I have just got tickets for a Rob Gretton memorial do.

The tickets cost me £12 and these people are playing:

    Mr Scruff
    The Doves
    Mike Pickering
    Grahame Park
    A Certain Ratio
    Dave Rofe (who is he?)
And the big twat himself, Anthony Wilson.

All these famous playing in a night club. This will be the nearest thing I can ever get to actually going to the Hacienda. Of course the venue would be totaly different, its the same location though!

Cool. Some good bands there. the doves especially stand out. Dare we say the best band in Manchester at the moment apart from the Inspirals who are simply royalty:D Would take the Missus, but the next day is a workday, and we're going to see the charlatans later that week... have a good one.

I second Lordsummit's vote on doves. I love the lost souls album :)

New Order will also be attending this gig. I've found out this evening. Hooky will be playing Heart And Soul with ACR and BArnie will be playing with the Doves.
