My recent love of vinyl has caused me with a bit of a problem I am running out space. I have a smallesh room (its the smallest room in the house) and not only do I have a massive HIFI system, computer a TV I need space to keep my LPs.

I have no choice but to through away all the 100's of magazines I have collected so I can store on my LPS. I went to Sifter's Records today and bought 8 LPS. At this rate I will need a library.

Seriously Mr Trade, there is little sadder then collecting hifi magazines, they are only good for one read, as a source of information the internet is infinatly better, and once you have got shot you can fill the space with that which evryone here insists they are into: music.

I agree with garyi, the net is a wonderful place to view information but a new freshly opened copy of HI-FI+ sure does smell good!

I just hate to get rid of them as the are always funny to luck back on even if I never do. I have What Car magazines dating back to 1993.

I have computer magazines that are reveiwing the latest 486 SX machines.

I have thrown most of them away but I still have at least 100.

Selling my bed is a serious suggestion.

I did used to have a TV Card but I found the quality wasn't that good, the image was far too soft and also it was a bit of a pain if you got in wanting to watch TV having to wait for the PC to boot up. My TV is on a much better viewing position too.

But you have just reminded me somthing in which I will make a new thread for.

Ditch the magazines and keep the bed!

Otherwise you'll look a bit of a plonker when you take that sexy gurly home and lay her down on a bed of sticky HFC chronicles

hehe you have a point. I have loads of faulty electronics junk too. I have arrange a builder to put a new UPVC window in so when I have a date for him coming I can clear my room out before hand and through away my old junk. Then after the windows been done I can decorate my room and re-organise it to make more suitable for listening.
