Import duty on s/h goods from Europe?

    You do not pay import duty on brand new goods imported from Europe so I guess it is exactly the same with second-hand stuff from Europe, too?

    If by Europe you mean the European Union, then there is indeed no duty.

    So begs the question . Do you pay import duty for second hand items from the USA ?? ....James

    You pay on gifts too, just that the threshold is twice as high - just look on customs and excise web pages
