    hi,
i know if i import stuff from the states i need to add about 25% to the actual cost for shipping, handling and govornmental highway robbery. is this the case for europe (specificly the netherlands) as well? or is it a different rough figure?

    cheers

    Please clarify.

Are you asking about importing US gear to the Netherlands or are you contemplating the import of Dutch stuff to the UK?

In that case, there shoud be no duty or VAT at all. The benefits of living in one big happy customs union!

as far as i can make out - haren? but i'd rather have the package delivered safely and without the aid of sniffer dogs and proctologists thank you. also there's also the danger of an unscheduled side trip to find out if thai sticks and nepalese temple balls are better when sampled closer to the source.
all in all i think i'll trust ups or fedex if i go down that route.
    cheers
