It's the Heathrow spring show at the Park Inn this coming weekend. We will be in syndicate 15.

Soundsmith have upgraded their unique Strain Gauge cartridge system by improving channel separation and therefore better soundstage width and depth. Our new demo preamp is in a new finish – black Lucite. (See Paul Messenger's review in the latest Hi Fi Critic).

We are particularly excited about the new Calypso HD speakers from Green Mountain Audio because of how they preserve timing and rhythm with really crisp transients. They are time and phase coherent, very neutral and small enough to fit most listening rooms.

    Our full demo system:

Soundsmith SG610 Strain Gauge cartridge system – updated for 2009 with >38 dB channel separation

Soundsmith The Voice moving iron cartridge (utilising the same stylus geometry and cantilever as the Strain Gauge) via the Quicksilver Preamp's phono stage

    Galibier Gavia turntable

Morsiani CM-1 and Artisan Capriccio tone arms

    Quicksilver Full Function Preamp

    Quicksilver V4 monoblocks (120W/channel into 8 ohms)

Green Mountain Audio Calypso HD speakers

Discovery Cable interconnects and Artisan speaker cables
