What an arse, fancy telling the host to write the cheque out before he'd answered his Question correctly. (Skegness is on the East of England on the North Sea coast). Oh how i laughed .....

Well i didn't set my alarm clock and think to myself OMG the national lotto quiz show is on and rush to switch channels, but yes, it happened to be on when i walked into the living room (nobody else in the room ) , heard him ask a question, knew the answer and kinda got sucked into watching the rest . Luckily I'm no snob and believe that I'm reasonably intelligent so don't mind admitting it.

The thing i found funny was that one of the contestants was a real smart arse and was so cock sure of himself, he just couldn't believe his luck at his question it was so easy - or so he thought ! He told Dale Winton to write out his check for £20,000 and then promptly gave the wrong answer.

I suppose if your going to make a complete arse of yourself you might as well do it on a Saturday night at prime time, in front of millions of people....

 

Can anybody tell me why that answer was wrong? I mean I thought Skegness was on the East Coast on the North Sea?

 

Absolutely AT, this monkey said it was on the Irish Sea though.

 

Haha ok what a bloody pleb, I guess its an easy mistake to make when you're live on TV as you're under so much preasure, however I bet he won't be so cockey next time
