    certainly, talking to a bunch of blokes about relationships on a hifi forum doesnt sound like the best place.

    frankly, talk to your other half, ask her these questions. Thats who you should be talking to.

    Just skimmed this.

    Like others have said, valentines day is a load of commercial pish and I don't like the fact that if you don't do something on that one day, then apparantly you're a bad partner.

    But, it means something to her.
    It's an easy opportunity to get some brownie points.

    I tend to make comments in the lead up about how wank the whole thing is, then go for something cute/funny.

    How the **** can you forget though?

    I went for the below card, thena while later gave her a "proper" card and a giraffe hand puppet thing. Coz I iz smoove like dat!

    Anniversary on march 4th, which means something MOre to me. I've something "special" lined up for that. See the custom jewellery thread a couple of weeks back :)
