Anybody watch this last night on the now free Film4?

Who can name the kit in the Hi-Fi shop? :p ..and we all know the voices sounded exactly the same with both cables!

Actually I saw the film when it first came out - the same brand gets plugged in all three infernal affairs films.

Its chinese "not that american **** that falsely promises tight lows, sweet mid and crisp treble".

I didn't realise there were three films! I actually found it a bit boring but maybe that is because I missed the beginning and didn't know who was who until near the end!

That would do it - its actually on a par with Goodfellas or the Godfather. However it has a chinese style that may take some getting used to - have you had much exposure to chiense cinema before? (chop socky doesnt count ;) )

I haven't seen Goodfella's or the Godfather! From what I have seen of the Godfather that would bore me as well so that might be a connection! Don't get me wrong it was a decent film as I watched it all the way through from about 10min in from the beginning. Could have done with a bit more kung-fu though! :D

I don't think its that great a film tbh, saw it when it was on proper film 4 ages ago after hearing a lot about it. Wasn't THAT exciting.
I pretty ****ed off with free film 4 so far, it was pretty much the only reason I have sky. So far they have shown a bunch of films they've been running for years, no extreme zone, which was one of my fav things about it, and no interesting foreign films what so ever, now its free they can't expect people to actually read subtitles.

It had been useless for some time before that - I unsubscribed years ago.

We used to have the full Sky package but unsubscribed everything when they charged twice for a repair and then expected us to wait on the phone for 60mins before being told we had to provide loads to proof that they charged twice. Apparently they can't check their accounts and see who paid them if it was done by cheque. Then they had the cheek to send loads of 'red' letters saying we owed them £13.50 for something when they still owed us over £60! They provide good TV but their customer service is sht.

I guess the morel of the tail is to pay for repairs by a cheque that will bounce and they won’t know about it.

Infernal affairs is an awesome trilogy. Love it. Nice to see audiophilia recognised in film for a change too.

    God, what's the point? :(

And featuring two of the most annoying actors ever to have graced the silver screen.

It isn't making money for Hollywood and has subtitles so requires the viewer to engage their brain on some level when watching it.
