    Totally wonderful speakers.

    12 inch Watkinson woofer.

    2 EMIM ribbon midrange drivers.

    1 EMIT ribbon tweeter.

Demo welcome - but make sure you bring a big car/van! ;-)

51 inches high, 18 inches wide, 11 inches deep. Solid wood enclosure.

Woofers look like they have recently been refoamed, so should be good for many years.

Easily driven by 15wpc upwards (they were great with my 15wpc Cary SET valve monoblocks!), but will readily handle 100s of watts.

This also comes with a pre-amp/x-over mainly for use if you Bi-amp, I think. I've never used for it, so I have no idea if it works or not. It's not needed for normal use with the speakers.

    Sonically flawless.

A couple of cosmetic flaws ....
    - The diffraction-reduction spongey foam around the ribbon units is starting to perish a little at the edges (see photo). This does not affect the sound, and as the speakers sound best with the grille covers on, this is not noticeable.
    - A couple of the wooden struts forming the frame on 2 of the top grille covers (there are 2 per speaker - front and back) have broken. This could be easily fixed and is not really noticeable anyway.

    £750 - buyer collects from GL17.
