Input voltages

    are the inputs on my amp desgined for specific components, by this i mean will using the cd thru the tape input would it make a difference, or even damage it?

    Only the phono inputs, which are a lot more sensitive.
    All the others are identical. In fact it's just a multiway switch from the various sockets to the front of the L + R amps

    sorry to keep going back to A&R A60s - but when the cd compatible version came along, the aux input wasn't just renamed "cd", the input impedance decreased, and the sensitivity doubled. if all inputs exept phono are the same, why would they do this?
