Dear all,
It has been years since I've owned a cassette deck and, having recently won an auction for a Sony TCK611S and now taking delivery of it, I find I really haven't a clue how to use it. I guess that's what happens when you spend too much time in the digital copying domain, or maybe it's just me.
Anyway, I'd be really grateful if someone could give me a crash course in this (or any similar) deck's usage - what's all this business about callibration and bias for starters? I understand about the basics like play, stop, record, record level, noise reduction, etc., but am a bit confused with connections (to a Naim 32.5 pre-amp) and which buttons dials do what regarding playback/monitoring. Any help would be really appreciated.
Yours, a complete numpty when it comes to this type of thing,
Chris.
