I have recently purchased an A5 Musical Fidelity Dab / FM tuner and I use this on a Naim 150x power and 122x pre feeding a pair of Linn Keilidh via QED silver aniv cable. Could anyone let me know a cable worth consideration. Sensible prices please.
    Thanks
    Dave

have you tried Naim speaker cable and interconnects dave?

as I understand it, they are very cheap on ebay and reccomended by your amplifier manufacturer for use with their products.

I'm sorry if this is obvious.

To be honest I have the Naim interconnect between pre and power but from phonostage to pre and from CD to pre I use Audioquest Ruby, which I do like. Just thought I may try any new fangled cables. If I dont find one I can always fall back on the Audioquest ruby's.
I did try NACA5 but prefered the detail of the QED. SOrry to be awkward.

Chord make cables with Din on one end and phono on the other. Zanash on here makes some interesting stuff, try pm'ing him. Alternatively you could read the threads discussing the effectiveness or otherwise. Cables are different, but maybe not as different as some would have you believe.

First off, do yourself a big favour & get rid of that QED SA speaker cable - truly awful stuff IMHO - brash and crude. I honestly think that anything would be better.

TCI Cobra i/cs are supposed to synergise well with MF equipment - about £200 new, or £100 2nd hand. Personally I currently use Van Damme cables to excellent effect - £20 the pair. (And I have owned serious cables up to £1k a pair, but you really don't need to go that far for good sound IME).

Change the speaker cable to something like Cardas, as well as the interconnects. Cardas is a great match with NAIM I find. When you cannot source a din-terminated Cardas, try the Chord range of interconnects.

Thanks for these recommendations I have asked Peter (Zanash) by PM if he would let me audition his cables. In fact the MF a5 tuner is one of Nandos and am enjoying very much.

i suggest trying missing links alaqeia, a wonderfull smooth, refined and detailed sounding cable. Very clean and natural. It can be bought in kit form for only £50 and im using two in my system.

couldnt be happier with the result
