Interest check - a rather special WAD Kit 88 Integrated Amp.

I'm considering selling this and thought I'd post here before 'ebaying' it.
This Kit 88 was built by Richard Maile and, in my opinion, has been taken 'as far as the design can go' in terms of modifications.
Here is a brief specification:

43W per channel (using Sowter VO 82 output transformers http://www.sowter.co.uk/specs/9015.htm as opposed to the 36W standard for the KIT 88) into 8R with 250mV sensitivity suitable for line inputs.

3 inputs currently wired with up to 5 and a tape loop possible.

Less than 0.1% distortion 1W 1KHz

Excellent power bandwidth to 55KHz with a gentle roll off.

Modifications include:

Schottky bias and heater supply rects.

Fast soft switching Fred HT rects.

Rifa low esr PS caps.

Black Gate FK bypass caps.

Panasonic for audio Pot

Mains filter (caps and spike suppressor)

Valves - Sylvania 6AU6WC, Mullard CV 4003, Svetlana 6550C for output.

Printed details of all modifications and build "instructions / diagrams included as well as on CD.

Condition is very good. Sounds superb, to my ears, with most musical styles except 'hard' dance music (Chilled Euphoria sounds good though!). I'm happy to email pics, auditions welcome (I'm in Newport-on-Tay, Fife).
