Due to serious ill health, I'm having to reduce the number of turntables/ tonearms I own. All I have are plinthed by the magical Mr. Russ Collinson.

First there is a Santos Rosewood plinthed Garrard 401 and this has been cut for a Schick tonearm with heavy counterweight (which I might be reluctantly persuaded to sell). There is a small dimple in the centre of the mat and a miniscule graze to the left hand side of the chasis. Serviced prior to purchase. This does have an excellent platter which is not shown in the photograph. Plinth and motor unit £700 together. Sold

Next is a Maple/carbon fibre effect plinthed Garrard 301 strobe platter and very supple original mat. Jelco 750 12" silver arm, this arm has had very little use and comes with both light and heavy counterweights. There are a couple of pin-head marks to the paintwork and these have been touched in. It was serviced shortly before I bought it. Comes with interchangeable armboards, one cut for a Thomas Schick tonearm and the other is uncut. All in all superb condition, runs smoothly and motor is quiet. Package price £1100

Finally there is a Thorens TD124 mk2 with SME mk2 (non improved) tonearm in another Santos Rosewood plinth. This has spare belts, motor grommets a second armboard in black cut for the SME, etc. I'm sure I could persuade Russ to make a Rosewood armboard for any arm of your choice, if you so wanted. I haven't seen any nicks or marks on it and picks up speed quickly and keeps it stable. Lovely. This turntable, to my mind, is in general underpriced at the moment. A steal for a package price of £1000. Sold

I am open to very near offers as they would need to be collected. All are in excellent to nr mint condition, irrespective of their age.

If anyone is interested please pm me in the first place and I shall take it on a first come basis.

Please ask any questions you have. I shall have photos to email to those who are interested.

Thank you for your time and for your interest,

    Anthony.

Any interest in the 301? The Maple veneer is lacquered and the patina of the wood has very silky looks. The motor unit is in original near mint condition with only a couple of pinhead chips which have been touched in. The arm has only been used half a dozen times. As I have extra armboards and an interested party in the arm I might separate as long as the motor/plinth are sold together first.
