If that's an 'interesting' book, I'd hate to see a boring one.

"Dry Stone Walls" by Lawrence Garner, with photographs of very different and distinctive styles for The Mendips, The Cotswolds, Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Galloway, North Wales, mid-Lakeland, Lancashire, Cornwall, etc.

Ok ok... I concede. Perhaps "Interesting Book" was an inappropriate title!

Never mind all that I found Madonnas metal clad Sex book at a booty this weekend for £1.

I am in two minds, continue looking or sell at a reasonable profit lol.

My great book would be the ECMA specs for 3.81mm magnetic tape helical scan recording, thrilling stuff.

Certainly not £1 like you paid for the Madoga book!

Mr Ear my attempts to please my wife have failed. Apparently she is working in quality assurance and not control.

All sounds like jobs worthy to me any how!

...seems like your wife needs to be updated on Juran, he covers 'all' aspects of Quality Control and Assurance in this book. It 's a book that no serious Quality professional should be without.

I was involved with BS5750 in the early days and then through all aspects of ISO systems, JEDEC, EIA, MIL Six Sigma to name a few, but in light of the directions that the ISO 9000 systems have taken a book like this will aid the incorporation of the TQM model into any Quality System.

Oh well, it's here if she wants it (or anyone else for that matter).
