Have contacted the manufacturer and they have no UK rep. at the moment. They have sent me all their literature and have quite a few product's for the UK market. I can get any at sample price if members want to try anything out.

btw I have been told that swapping glass bodied fuses for ceramic ones makes a positive difference to the sound. Worth trying cos they cost pennies.

They have a range of power cords, a mains distribution unit, high grade 13amp wall sockets, isolation cones, cable stabilizers, isolation platform, and RF isolators (to insert in all your spare RCA type connections and spare electrical sockets). They even have their own disc cleaner.

I will try and scan all the relevant products into Adobe for anyone that is interested, just email me at: [email protected] or send me a PM if there is anything you are interested in urgently.

I am going to order some items in for testing, so if any members would like to try anything, might make sense to request details on specific items then get their order in ;)

This will be purely 'recovery of costs' exercise, I am not offering anything for sale here, let alone trying to make any profit.

I've noticed that the fuse within my DaxDecade is glass. Have also been 'testing' cones!

I use the little MCBs from RS/maplin. Cheaper than 'audiograde' fuses. I tried using higher value fuses too, they're better than the normal rated fuse but obviously not a great idea, I was only testing, and the MCB beats the higher rated fuses hands down anyway.

i wonder how just changing the fuse to a less oxidised one (or just cleaning the fuse of oxidisation) would compare to the 'audiophile' fuse.
    cheers

What about the rest of the circuits? Me think the next logical step is to change everything once they have degraded. So we might just a well buy a new CDP. Burn it for 3 months before it has any right to comes on song. Enjoy. However, once the box has been used for 6 months everything has pass it really. Time to buy another new one. If the new toy don't sound any good that because it has to be burn in. People who suggest 100 hours run in are crap. 3 months of constant use is what needed and don't even bother with that off button. Once your ears are used to this level of quality you would find that these solidstate toys are only really good for 1000 hours of optimum performance. That is why real Audiophile has a few systems burning in at any one time and change their toys every 3 months. We know all along buying secondhand gear are so sad.

Sorry Gents missed this one, Ok, being honest (and I've got 2 other versions of 'audiophile' fuses.
Tried in 9 different applications, ranging from £400 to £12k, Noticed a small differnce in 3 pieces of equipment (I mean small), none in the others
system was Meadlark Blue heron 2's/Coherence/Shunyata/Cardas/Spectral/Belcanto/AR amplifiation/CDPs/Audio Aero/Meridian/Ayre/MSB/DCS/Wadia
All the differenices were noticed with the mians conditioning removed.
    Just my findings only. Wm
